A reporting month
The result.
The work. The next decision.
A useful report connects the evidence to the work and explains what should happen next.

Start with one clear result.
Lead with the most useful change for the reader. State what the number counts, where it came from and which period it covers.
For example, the September report for a Manchester cleaning business leads with one search: “office cleaning manchester city center” averaged position 35 in August and position 1 in September. That is an average position for one query, from Search Console, over two stated months. It does not establish how many people inquired or what they spent.

Give the result its context.
Check the page and query detail behind the total. A gain concentrated in one topic calls for a different discussion from a broad improvement across the site. Use the same filters when making a comparison.
Keep recorded inquiries separate. A phone-number click is not a completed phone call, and a form button click is not proof that the message reached the inbox. State the event that the tracking actually records.

Show the relevant work.
Bring the finished work into view: the published page, the changed structure, the corrected contact path or the useful piece of content. A reader should be able to see what was delivered.
Use the published address or a sharp screenshot where it helps. Keep dates available without making them the main story. Distinguish planned work from work that has actually been made live.

Keep the record easy to open.

End with the next useful decision.
The next step should follow from the evidence. It might be improving a page that now receives relevant search traffic, investigating a gap in the inquiry route or waiting for a longer comparison window.
A report becomes useful when the reader knows what changed, what was delivered and what they need to decide. The reporting service brings those parts together.
