What happens to the work if you stop working with me.
Nothing breaks, nothing locks, and nothing has to be rebuilt. That is the honest answer, and it only holds because of how the work is done from the first day, not because of a clause written for the last one.
The question underneath the question
Nobody asks this because they expect to leave. They ask it because handing your visibility to one person is a real risk, and a business that has been burned by an agency holding its logins hostage asks it for a good reason.
The honest answer is a description of where things live, not a promise about how things will go.
Where everything actually lives
The website
Built in your hosting account, on your domain, from the first day. There is no separate agency account it lives inside that would need migrating out.
The Google accounts
Search Console, the Business Profile, Analytics where it applies. Yours, with me added as a user. Removing a user does not delete an account or its history.
The content
Every page, every guide, every town page, published under your name, on your site. It keeps ranking after the engagement ends, because it was never dependent on anyone continuing to touch it.
The record
The plan, the procedures and the reporting are written so somebody else could pick them up. A new person reading the work log should be able to see what was done, when, and why, without a handover call.
What does actually stop
Being honest about this both ways matters. Weekly Google listing updates stop, because someone has to write and post them. New pages stop being published, because someone has to research and write them. The report you log into stops updating, because it is written from the work log, and the work log stops when the work does.
What does not stop is the site itself, its rankings, or your access to any of the accounts it lives in. The engine pauses. Nothing gets taken away.
All of it is yours.
A site that ranks. A listing that rings. Content that compounds month over month. And an owner who knows exactly what they have, because they watched it being built.
