Las Vegas

SEO for local businesses in Las Vegas, from someone who has run four Vegas brands at once.

Las Vegas is where most of my heaviest work has been done: two injury law firms, a property brokerage and an agency, all at the same time. It is one of the most contested local search markets in the country, and the results below were earned in it.

Las Vegas is more than the city of Las Vegas

What most people call Las Vegas is several places. Clark County's own map lists five cities, Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas, Boulder City and Mesquite, alongside unincorporated towns such as Paradise, Spring Valley, Enterprise, Summerlin South, Sunrise Manor, Whitney and Winchester. Searchers use all of these names, and Google treats them as places.

For a local business that matters in two ways. A searcher in Henderson is a different map from a searcher in Summerlin, because Google weighs distance heavily. And a site that only talks about Las Vegas misses the searches people make by the name of the place they actually live. The firms that win across the valley have a page for each service and a real page for each community they serve.

An injury firm shown half a million times

Google showed one Las Vegas injury firm to searchers 556,000 times in the three months to June 2026, and fewer than two in every thousand of those turned into a visit. The demand was there; the pages were not built to be chosen.

I rebuilt the site around its structure: one hub carrying the firm's core search with every accident type beneath it, four surrounding communities each as a genuine hub with practice pages under them, a daily engine of guides and answer pages with every legal fact checked against the statute, and the nineteen services on the Google listing matched one to one with live pages.

In the Ahrefs rank tracker the firm went from 9 top-three rankings to 44 by July 2026, ahead of the 25 to 40 the engagement promised. Pages in Google's index went from 133 to 543, read on 3 September 2026.

Four brands, two pieces a day

In August 2026 I ran four Las Vegas brands under one roof: two injury firms, a property brokerage and the agency's own site. 195 pieces were researched, dated and scheduled before the month began, weekends included, each mapped to a real search and checked before it went out. Separately, one injury firm had 4,144 pages in Search Console’s “Crawled - currently not indexed” report in June. That count fell to 2,549 by 3 September after page-by-page decisions; no pages were bulk deleted.

A brokerage buried by its own listings

A Las Vegas property management and brokerage firm had a site flooded by its own listings software, with tens of thousands of generated pages burying the 237 pages that actually run the business. The real site was separated from the exhaust, every page got a written decision, and the vendor's part was packaged and chased. By 2 September 2026, 27 of its pages were being quoted in AI answers as counted by Ahrefs, sites linking in had grown to 570 from 66 in March, and visits from Google in the 28 days to 31 August were 778, from 497 the month the work began.

What local SEO in Las Vegas involves

01

A page for each community you serve

Henderson, North Las Vegas, Summerlin, Spring Valley, Enterprise and the rest, each written about the place: the roads, the courts or offices that matter, how quickly you get there, the work you have done there.

02

Service pages with real depth

In a market this contested, a thin service page loses to a detailed one every time. Each service page answers the questions people ask before they call.

03

A listing matched to the site

The primary category chosen for where the money comes from, every service listed, and each service backed by a live page that says the same thing.

04

Content on a steady cadence

Las Vegas rewards businesses that publish steadily and punishes the ones whose publishing turns into overlap. Every piece mapped before it is written.

05

Reviews and directories kept in order

A steady flow of genuine reviews, and the business's name, address and phone number said the same way everywhere, including suite numbers, which drift more often than you would think when offices move within the same building or plaza.

What a strong community page looks like

Take Henderson. A page that ranks there names the parts of the city the business really serves, such as Green Valley, Anthem, Seven Hills, Inspirada or Lake Las Vegas, and says how long it takes to get there. For a law firm it might cover where clients from Henderson are usually seen and which roads and junctions keep appearing in the cases; for a property manager, the kinds of homes and the rental questions owners there ask.

It links up to the service it belongs to, and across to neighbouring communities a customer might also be in. A page like that earns its place in Google because it is useful to the person reading it. A page that says "proudly serving Henderson" and nothing else is a copy of every other community page on the site.

How the first month runs

01

Read where you stand

How Google has filed the business, which searches and communities you already appear for, what the listing and directories say, and how many of your pages Google is actually showing.

02

Fix what is broken

Wrong categories, duplicate listings, mismatched suite numbers, pages Google refuses. In a crowded market these small faults cost more than they would elsewhere.

03

Map services and communities

Which pages exist, which search each answers, which community pages come first. The communities closest to your office and richest in work lead.

04

Publish to the map and check it live

The first pages go out on the plan, each checked on the site itself, each recorded in the portal with its date and its search.

Numbers you can check

Every figure in this page carries its source and its window, and every figure in a report I send does the same. Search Console for positions and appearances, from your own account. Ahrefs for links, with the date it was read. Your own call and form tracking for enquiries. If a month is flat, the report says so.

Why Las Vegas is harder than most markets

Injury law in Las Vegas is advertised harder than almost anything else you will see in a local market: billboards along the highways, television ads, and firm after firm buying the same searches. Anyone who has driven through the valley has seen it. Lead generation directories compete for those searches as well. Property is similar, with national portals owning most listing searches.

That makes structure and honesty more important, not less. You will not outspend the biggest firms. You can out-organise them: clearer pages, better answers, a listing and site that agree, and content that fills the gaps they leave. That is how the firms above moved.

Working with me from Las Vegas

My working day runs while Las Vegas sleeps, so a problem found in your evening is usually fixed by your morning. You deal with me directly, and approvals and messages go through a portal you can open on your phone. For law firms, every legal statement is checked against the Nevada statutes themselves before it is published.

I take a small number of clients at a time. If I am not the right fit for what your business needs, I will say so in my first reply.

Questions Las Vegas businesses ask

Can a smaller firm compete in Las Vegas search

Yes, but not by copying what the biggest firms do. A smaller firm wins with sharper structure, better local pages and answers the big firms do not bother writing, starting with the communities nearest its office.

Do you only work with law firms

No. Las Vegas work has included law firms, a property brokerage and an agency. The method is the same for any local service business; the rivals change.

Should I have pages for Henderson and Summerlin

If you genuinely serve them and can write something specific about each, yes. People search by those names, and Google treats them as separate places.

How long before results in a market this competitive

Longer than in a quiet market. The firms above moved over months, with results dated at both ends. I will show you those windows before we start.

Who checks the legal content

I check every legal statement against the statute. Where a page gives practical legal guidance, a lawyer at the firm should review it before it goes live.

Run a business in Las Vegas?

Send me the site. I will tell you which searches it is being shown for, why it is or is not being chosen, and what would move it.
