The situation when I arrived
A personal injury firm in the most competitive legal market in America. Las Vegas injury law is a knife fight, every firm in the city buying, writing and clawing for the same searches. The firm needed to own its market, and owning a market like that takes volume most operators cannot sustain and quality most volume cannot survive.
What I folded
A content engine that runs at two a day, every day, across four separate operations at once. Not a burst. A cadence. Every piece mapped to a real search before a word was written, every statute checked against the primary legal source, every internal link resolving to a page with a job.
Most solo operators cannot sustain that rate. Most agencies cannot either, not at quality. The mapping discipline is what makes it possible, when the architecture already knows where every piece belongs, writing is the fast part.
The same fold, many times over
Two a day, every day. Not a burst. A cadence.
Then the weather turned
Search shifted, and sites built in an earlier era got caught in the tide. Thousands of older pages fell out of Google's index. This is the moment most providers either panic or start deleting, and deleting is how you turn a suppression into a collapse.
I did neither. The recovery ran on structure. Overlapping posts were folded into single strong hubs, dozens of pages at a time pointing their strength at one chosen survivor.
A poisonous link history, hundreds of spam domains from an old era, was audited by hand and formally cut away. Every stranded page got a per case decision, keep and strengthen, fold into a hub, or step out of Google's view, each move reversible and each one logged.
The not indexed pile has been shrinking month over month since, and the pages that matter are winning their searches again. Slow, structural, and honest, which is the only kind of recovery that holds.
What this proves
Volume and quality can coexist, for years, from one operator, when the structure is decided before the writing starts. And when the weather changes, the same structural discipline is what brings a site back.

When the architecture already knows where a piece belongs, writing is the fast part.
Why the rate held
